Spring Storytime (R) begins March 4 - April 29. Join Miss Beth for a time of stories, games, crafts, and lots of fun while developing early literacy skills. Little Ones Storytime is open to ages birth-2 and Pre-K Storytime is open to ages 3-5. When registering, please specify if your child has any food allergies, as snacks are often provided.
Noon & 2:00 Book Discussions (R) will meet Wednesday, March 4, at noon and at 2:00 p.m., to discuss American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins. On Wednesday, April 1, at noon and at 2:00 p.m., the groups will discuss Go As a River by Shelley Read. Stop by the library front desk to register for your preferred time, check out the book, and to receive email updates.
Two community meals have been scheduled for the Bluffton Senior Center, 132 N. Main St.
St. Mary's Catholic Church will serve the meal on March 5.
On March 19, the Bluffton University Nutrition Club will serve the evening meal.
All meals begin at 6 p.m. and are free and open to the public. While there is no cost to attend, a goodwill offering will be accepted to support the local food pantry.
The community is invited to attend the upcoming Monthly Dinner Meeting on Monday, March 9, beginning at 12:00 noon at the Bluffton Senior Center.
This month's gathering will feature a potluck meal. Mark and Debbie Brenneman will provide soup for attendees. Guests are asked to bring a side dish to go with the soup or a dessert to share with the group.
Serving as master of ceremonies for the afternoon will be Gloria Bucher, who will guide the program and announcements.

David M. Speicher, 89, of Marysville, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026. David was born in Goshen, Indiana on August 12, 1936 to the late Charles M. and Eva M. (Smith) Speicher.
Mark Falk, 63, passed away on March 1, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Mark was born January 11, 1963, in Bluffton, to Harold Dean and Carol (Mathewson) Falk. On June 21, 1986, he married Karen (Weyer) Falk who survives.
He was a 1982 graduate of Bluffton High School and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He retired from Production Products Inc. in 2024 but worked previously for Cooper Tires and Clymer Enterprises.
MEDIA RELEASE__The Bluffton High School a cappella ensemble One Voice was named the winner of the 2026 Ohio Has Talent finals Saturday evening, February 28, at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Van Wert.
The ensemble members are Ellie Hartzler, Claire Phillips, Liliana Liberato, Makenna Mohr, Eli Lehman and Ty Huffman.
The six students performed in classic concert black and competed against talented acts from across the region. The competition winner was determined by audience vote.
