OCT 21 MEDIA RELEASE__Eric Frey Martin, director of constituent engagement at Mennonite Mission Network, will present "Moving at the Speed of Love: Finding Purpose in Mission and Service" during Bluffton University's Forum at 11 a.m. on Nov. 4 in Yoder Recital Hall.

Martin will explore Jesus' call to love God and our neighbors at a pace that honors relationships, encourages service, and resists the pressure of speed and efficiency.

This Forum is free and open to the public.

Orange Township in Hancock County, which includes part of the Village of Bluffton, has a ballot issue on the November 4, 2025 General Election ballot. The issue asks Orange Township voters to vote for or against the following tax levy:

OCT 27 MEDIA RELEASE__Bluffton University has announced that its Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SLPA) program will now be known as Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD). The new name reflects Bluffton's commitment to aligning with national standards in the field and preparing students for advanced study and meaningful careers in communication and hearing health.

A perennial favorite activity for kids of all ages, the Ada Kiwanis Halloween Parade entertained participants and onlookers on Monday, October 28. The parade route stretched from the Municipal Building parking lot to the historic Pennsylvania Railroad Depot.

The Bluffton Icon is beginning to compile minutes for public meetings in the Village of Bluffton, Orange Township and Richland Township that are not otherwise posted online.
