Construction is underway for the Bluffton Schools' artificial turf field at Vine and Lawn in Bluffton, Ohio. Crews are preparing drainage and underlayment for the approximately 90-yard-long field, which will be used for after-school athletic and band practices as well as for class activities.

The Bluffton High School football team has finished the 2025 season tied for sixth with Attica Seneca East (7-3) in the final Div. VI, Region 22 rankings after suffering their second defeat in their season finale. Bluffton is the seventh seed.
The top four teams in each region receive a first-round bye, while teams ranked five through 12 play in the first round.
Castalia Margaretta finished first (9-1) in region 22, followed by Hopewell-Loudon (9-1) and Archbold (8-2).
A star-spangled red, white and blue Little Free Library is now located on the west side of S. Main St. near Bentley Rd. This installation by the property owners was recently approved by Bluffton Council. Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization based in Saint Paul, Minnesota: "Our mission is to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Library book-sharing boxes."
