Here's the theme list since 2005

This year's Blaze of Lights theme "The 12 Days of Christmas," carries over to downtown business window display - if you've not noticied.

Each year since 2005 the Blaze has had a theme. Thanks to Beverly Amstutz, who provided this list to the Icons, here's the all-time Blaze theme list

Isaac Zickafoose (Middlebury, Ind./Northridge) has been named Second Team All-North Region by D3football.com following a senior season that saw the defensive end earn his second HCAC Defensive Player of the Year award. It marks the third straight year that Zickafoose has been an All-Region selection after back-to-back third team honors.

The Bluffton University men's basketball team lost a nail-biter to Transylvania, 65-62, on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, with three Beavers notching double digits. Even though Bluffton led 60-53 with just over four minutes to play, but the visitors allowed just two points the rest of the way for their third win of the season. Bluffton stands 4-2 overall and 0-1 in the Heartland Conference.

Thursday coffee walks now through end of March

The coffee is on at Bluffton Family Recreation.

Daniel Tinch, BFR executive director, invites Icon viewers to drop in at BFR on Thursdays from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

That’s when Coffee Walks take place. The coffee and walks are free to BFR members and track pass holders. Twisted Whisk Café sponsors the coffee. Mark Studer of BFR creates a weekly coffee cake or other specialty item to accompany the coffee.

Lisa Wenger, agent in the office

RealLiving CCR Realtors relocated its office this week from Tommy Tire Plaza to 122 N. Main St., announced Lisa Wenger, agent in the office.

The new office is in the former Faith Investment Services location. That business is in the process of relocating to the building at 101 N. Main St., operating with an entrance on Church Street.

Wenger has 20 years of experience in real estate with the most recent 10 years as a full-time realtor. She has worked with CCR/RealLiving for the past four years.
