Group discussion future events

Transition Bluffton invites the public to its idea-raising launch party from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, in the Bluffton town hall, 154 N. Main St. In addition to its launch party, the event is a brainstorm session for future events and project by the group. Cake will be served. This event celebrates the creation of Transition Bluffton, an organization that is bringing people together to build sustainability in Bluffton and beyond.

Kerry Patrick Clark will be in concert at the Pandora United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 30, at 7 p.m. 

The church is located at 108 E. Washington Street (Route 12) in Pandora. There is no admission fee but there will be a free will offering and CD’s will be available for sale.

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Bluffton University baseball team dropped a 9-1 decision at Earlham College on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Bluffton fell to 13-19 overall and 6-14 in the Heartland Conference, while Earlham improved to 19-11 and 14-6 in the HCAC.

At The Quarry Farm, rural Pandora, Thursday evening

Bluffton Public Library invites Icon viewers to take a star walk at The Quarry Farm, rural Pandora on Thursday evening.

You must sign-up immediately if you wish to participate. Contact the library at 145 S. Main St., or call 419-358-5016.

Quarry Farm Nature Preserve is located on Township Road 7-L, Pandora. The star walk is from 8 to 9:30 p.m. A "cloud date" is the same time on Saturday, April 29.

Forty-six adults and children joined Anne Coburn-Griffis at Motter Metro Park to explore the Little Riley on April 23. Participants examined the six types of aquatic life found in the creek and learned about conditions that affect the water quality of area rivers and lakes. Bluffton High School's baseball team clobbered Columbus Grove 14-1 and Paulding on the road 7-1, lost on the road to Crestview 10-1 and lost a close one to Miller City by a 3-1 score.
