State Representative Bob Cupp (R-Lima) this week was sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 132nd General Assembly. He represents the 4thOhio House District, which comprises all of Allen County, for a second term.

"It's an honor to represent the people of Allen County in the Ohio House for a second term. I look forward to continuing to work for job-friendly policies,  getting a hold of the heroin and drug menace, and ensuring consistency in school standards and funding as this two-year legislative session gears up."

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women’s basketball team took on Anderson University and pulled out the win as they methodically marched to a 65-48 victory despite a sluggish start. The Beavers improved to 10-2 overall and 4-1 in the Heartland Conference. The Ravens slipped to 5-8 on the season, including a 2-4 mark in the HCAC.

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's basketball team welcomed visiting Anderson University for a Heartland Conference tussle. The Ravens improved to 5-1 with the 81-76 victory on a frigid Saturday, Jan. 7. There were 11 lead changes in the see-saw affair.

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University track and field teams ended their holiday sabbatical as they traveled to Hillsdale College (MI) for their Winter Opener Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017.

13 Bluffton Lions members recognized by Activate Allen County

Thirteen Bluffton Lions Club members received recognition for volunteer work accomplished in 2016.

The presentations were made in December by the Lima/Allen County Bicycle/Pedestrian Task Force, a committee of the Activate Allen County organization.

It was the group's annual year-end meeting, held at The MET, downtown Lima.

During the meeting, Bluffton Lions Club were recognized for their volunteer work in 2016 to promote a healthier community through the Bluffton Lions Foundation’s Pathway projects.

Registration for Bluffton youth softball and baseball now underway

It’s January but Bluffton Diamond Sports is already dreaming about spring training, according to Brad Dailey.

Registration is underway for spring teams involving:
• baseball teams for: 7-8 year-old boys, Little League (9-10 age), Junior Pony (11-12) Junior High,
• softball teams for: Coaching Pitch (8-10), Tri-County 11-13) and Junior High
