VBS is from Sunday, July 24 through Thursday, July 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. each evening.
It has classes for preschool through fifth grade. This year's theme is "Deep Sea Discovery - where kids will know that God is always with them!"

When it comes to fires in Bluffton, this one was one of the most tragic.
This was the Russell Hotel that was destroyed in a 1919 fire. The building stood at the corner of Main and Church (see the Mennonite Church steeple in the background).
The fire destroyed the holtel, the Lugibihl Hardware and the Bluffton telephone exchange.
Today Citizens National Bank is located on this site.

ArtSpace/Lima announced that "Making My Way: A Gregg Luginbuhl Retrospective"will be shown in the Ellen Nelson Gallery from June 12 through July 23.
Luginbuhl has been a fixture on the local and national art scenes for over 40 years. He has taught at the University of Findlay (1976-1984) and at Bluffton University (1984-2014).
