Martha L. Coates, 97, died at 11 a.m. Dec. 11, 2012, at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton.

She was born Oct. 20, 1915, in Jackson Township to Clinton E. and Neva E. Akerman Fisher, who preceded her in death.

On July 9, 1938, she married Lewis D. Coates, who died May 20, 1989.

Martha was a homemaker. She was a life member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lafayette, and its WELCA women's group.

Eugenie K. Dunbar-Kidd, age 96, died on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 8:15 a.m. at her residence in Ada.

She was born on June 11, 1916 in Freeman, South Dakota to Ludwig F. and Friederika (Hermann) Schamber who preceded her in death.

She first married William Henry Dunbar and he died August 8, 1950. She then married Robert H. Kidd and he died on May 13, 1980.

In her early years, she worked for a Dry Cleaning Company and Lima Packing Company.

She was employed at Bluffton College in the cafeteria and Pickerington Security Services, where she worked as a guard.
