In Charles Bosworth Jr. and Joel J. Schwartz's  brand new true crime book, Bone Deep, Untangling the Betsy Faria Murder Case (Kensington Publishing, ISBN 978-0-8065-4197-6), the characters and story are real. The circumstances happened as portrayed.

The writing is crisp and compelling, driving the reader to keep reading without stopping, in this true tale about Russ Faria supposedly killing his wife Betsy two days after Christmas in 2011. This book is all about the truth being stranger than fiction, and as it unfolds the truth gets abused by law enforcers and the prosecuting attorney in order to rush a guilty conviction.

The Bluffton High School swim team coached by Rachel Diller and assistant coaches Bob Verb and Stephanie McMahon, started their 2021-22 season on Thursday, December 2 with a nonleague meet at the Putnam County YMCA, 101 Putnam Pkwy. The boys and girls rosters are attached to this article.

Volunteers at St. John's United Church of Christ, 223 West College Avenue, are making warm, cheerful fleece blankets and dozens of cuddly teddy bears for recipients at area continuing care facilities.

The Bluffton Police Department and Jazzercize Bluffton have teamed up for the Cruising with a Claus toy drive. Both organizations are collecting new unwrapped toys for distribution by the Bluffton Community Assistance Corporation. The next collection is:
