Bluffton University will host the Holiday Collage Concert at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5 in Yoder Recital Hall.
Bluffton’s Jazz Ensemble, Concert Band, University Chorale and Camerata Singers will perform Christmas music including “Carol of the Bells,” “Sleighride,” “Dormi, Jesu!” and “Wexford Carol.”
This event is open to the public at no charge. Masks are required inside all Bluffton University buildings at this time. Masks are optional outside.
The Pandora United Methodist Church Choir will present the Christmas Cantata "Behold the Star!" written by Lloyd Larson at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 12 during the worship service.
The church service and refreshments in the fellowship hall afterwards are open to the public. The choir is directed by Pat Basinger and accompanied by Pat Michel.
The church is located at 108 E. Washington Street (State Route 12), Pandora.
In November, the Bluffton Lions Foundation announced the extension of the Lions Way Bike and Pedestrian pathway on County Line Rd. from the intersection of College Ave.-Bern Rd. to Jefferson Street-State Route 103. The new 1/3 mile segment will be constructed in 2022.
Pathway construction will follow an AEP pole replacement project scheduled in advance of June 1, 2022. Site engineering, including rights-of-way and power pole relocations with AEP have been completed, at no cost to the pathway project. Detailed engineering projections put the cost at $150,000.
