Alzheimer's Association presents "Maintain your brain" Nov. 23 at Maple Crest
Maintain Your Brain!
To help baby boomers and all Americans live a brain-healthy lifestyle and potentially reduce their risk for Alzheimer's disease, the Alzheimer's Association is offering a "Maintain Your Brain" program on Tuesday, Nov. 23, from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Maple Crest Senior Living Village, Patio Room (700 Maple Crest Court).
Increasing evidence shows that healthy lifestyle habits, such as being, "heart smart," being physically and mentally active, eating a healthy diet and staying socially involved, contribute to healthy aging and may decrease risk for Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. This program will focus on simple lifestyle modifications which can have an impact on one's health.
