Krysti's Music Studio registering students for fall classes
Krysti's Music Studio, 334 S. Main St., is registering students for fall classes, according to Krysti Schey, studio owner.
Students are being accepted in piano, voice, guitar, violin and trumpet. The studio has over 100 students.
"We accept students as young as 3," she said. Persons interested in more information may attend an open house from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 27, at the studio. The studio has seven teachers including student teachers.
Several of Schey's students will perform at the Campus Life "performathon," on Saturday, Aug. 13. The event is at the Campus Life building 111 W. College Ave.
Students in piano, voice and guitar will perform continuously from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the event. It is a fund-raiser for Campus Life. Persons attending may make donations to the Campus Life program.
The performathon will also have breakfast and lunch served by donation. Persons who attend may register for door prizes given during the event. Last year's performathon raised over $3,000 for Campus Life.
