At 9:06 p.m. Tuesday, two male suspects entered the business, brandished a firearm and demanded money

An armed robbery at the Bluffton Dari Freeze, 595 S. Main St., is under investigation by Bluffton police, according to Ryan Burkholder, police chief.

The police issued the following statement on May 22:

On Tuesday, May 21, at approximately 9:06 p.m. Bluffton police officers responded to the Bluffton Dari Freeze for a reported armed robbery that had just occurred.

Upon arrival, officers learned that two male suspects had entered the business and brandished a firearm and demanded money.

The village of Bluffton's spring clean-up week starts Wednesday, May 22, and runs through Tuesday, May 28, according to Bryan Lloyd, assistant village administrator.

Dumpsters will be located at the village brush dump on Spring Street during this period.

Items not permitted to dump are household hazardous materials, paint, used motor oil, car batteries and tires. The premises will be under video surveillance and the clean-up week is only for residents of the village.
