Lima-Bluffton-Lima bus service begins Monday
Allen County Regional Transit Authority (ACRTA) will begin servicing five buses a day from Lima to Bluffton with a return to Lima beginning Monday, June 7.
The five busses, stopping in several Bluffton locations, will service the community Mondays through Fridays. The busses will also stop in Beaverdam.
The bus timetable is below this story. Runs begin in Lima at 6:20 a.m., 8:20 a.m., 10:20 a.m., 2:20 p.m. and 4:20 p.m.
Prices are extremly afforable and the fare structure is posted at the bottom of the story.

Lima – RTA terminal, 200 E. High St.
Beaverdam
Bentley Road-Main Street
Bluffton Hospital (call only)

According to Brian Wildermuth, ACRTA operations director, "We are looking forward to offering bus service from Lima to Bluffton and back to Lima."
The busses carry bike racks.
The stops in Bluffton at the moment are slightly affected by the Jefferson Street closure. Once Jefferson Street is open, a more fixed route will develop.
He added that customers can use the flag stop method to signal the driver to stop and board the bus anywhere along the Bluffton route.
The following holidays are observed and buses will not run: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
