March chamber program: Eikenbary Landscape Co.
The March 11 chamber breakfast at Bluffton Town Hall was sponsored by Eikenbary Landscape Co., which also provided a program on how the new business is using social media to broaden brand awareness in the community.
Owners Brett and Chase Eikenbary began their presentation by thanking Greenhorn for providing the breakfast, which included items from the 112 Vine St. restaurant’s new brunch menu. Coffee was provided by the Twisted Whisk Cafe.
The Eikenbarys then took turns telling the story of how the landscaping business was created, Brett’s experience in the landscaping, the business organizations that are supporting their new endeavor and how they are now using Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and–eventually–YouTube to connect with customers.
The presentation also included an eye-opening summary of the development of social media over the past ten years, highlighting how it has come to be an important marketing opportunity for small businesses.
