New evening cosmetology program at Apollo
Provided by Apollo Career Center
Apollo Career Center Adult Education is excited to announce the launch of our newly approved Apollo School of Cosmetology. The 15-month evening program will run Monday through Thursday from 3:30-10:00 pm, and will equip students with extensive training in cosmetology, setting them up to successfully become a licensed cosmetologist.
The Apollo School of Cosmetology will provide an engaging curriculum that encompasses every facet of cosmetology, such as hair cutting and styling, skincare and nail care. Students will benefit from hands-on training led by experienced instructors in modern facilities, equipping them with the essential skills and knowledge to thrive in the industry.
Tara Shepherd, Director of Adult Education at Apollo states, “Offering a cosmetology program in the evening is a vital step in serving our adult learners and supporting the cosmetology profession. This schedule provides flexibility for those balancing work, family, and education, opening doors to new career opportunities. Cosmetology is more than a skill—it's an art and a profession that empowers individuals to express creativity, build confidence in others, and make a lasting impact in their communities. By providing accessible training, we are not only preparing skilled professionals but also contributing to the growth and success of this dynamic industry."
Classes for the Cosmetology program are set to begin September 8, 2025. To learn more about the program and how to apply, please visit www.apollocareercenter.com or contact the program manager, Allison Williamson at [email protected] or 567-940-3889.
