The Alzheimer’s Association hosted its annual forum in Washington, D.C. this summer, and I was honored to attend as an advocate for Ohio's congressional district, proudly representing my loved ones, including my stepmom and husband, who inspire me every day.

HARROD__The visiting Bluffton High School girls soccer team defeated backyard league rival Allen East 4-0 in a Northwest Conference match on Tuesday evening, September 16 at Goodwin Field.
The Pirate girls improved to 5-5 overall with the shutout win, and upped their league mark to 4-0 to stay tied for first place with two conference matches left.
Defending champion Columbus Grove is also 4-0 in the NWC.
AE fell to 1-8-1 overall and 1-3 in NWC play after the defeat.
VAN WERT__The visiting Bluffton High School girls tennis team defeated Western Buckeye League foe Van Wert decisively 4-1 on Tuesday, September 16.
The Pirate team improved to 5-8 after the impressive victory. Van Wert dropped to 1-9 with the defeat.
“Van Wert was a great opponent who played with honesty, competitiveness, and sportsmanship,” said Bluffton head coach Trisha Nieman. “Matches were well-fought across all courts, and it was an enjoyable night of tennis.
