Sloppy play and defense dominated at Spencerville as the Pirates fell 22-0 to go to 3-4 on the season. Each team fumbled fives each and also lost three of those fumbles. There were also nine total turnovers in the game.

The first quarter went scoreless as both teams traded punts until Spencerville scored with a six-yard TD pass in the second to go up 6-0.

The Pirate defense held strong for the rest of the half but the offense could not get going as the team turned the ball over four times in the first half.

The winner of Week 7 of The Icon Football Contest is Dave Moser, who correctly picked 12 games this week.
