The staff of Bluffton Public Library truly miss our patrons and being able to serve the community from our front desk.

However, the health and safety of our customers and staff is our top priority, and therefore, as we're sure you've seen on our website, the library made the difficult decision to close from March 17, 2020 through at least April 6.

Patrons that have checkouts should not worry– All due dates will be adjusted and items on the hold shelves will remain there for when the library reopens.

Canceling programing until April 5 • Several links to health sources provided in this story

Bluffton Public Library remains open and is operating under its noraml schedules, according to Jessica Hermiller, library administrator.

"The health and safety of our customers and staff is a top priority," she said.

"Currently our location is open and operating under normal schedules. Please continue checking the library’s website or social media for updated information."

She continues:
"We're working with local health officials and following directions from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH).

Please notice: This event is postponed until May 18. Stay tuned for more details.
