Staying Well in Cold & Flu Season with Dr. Leah Eiden: Tuesday, October 16 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bluffton Public Library (main level)
As part of a Health Education series, Dr. Leah Eiden, Family Medicine Provider at Bluffton Primary Care will present a variety of ways to help keep you and your family healthy through the winter. All ages are welcome and there will be time for questions at the end. This program is one in a series of programs offered through the BVHS Speakers Bureau.
Would you or your business/organization like to support your local library? BPL will accept donations until October 17 for its annual Holiday Gift Silent Auction. Suggested donations are themed gift baskets and/or individual items such as: giftcards, children’s items, (new books, toys, games or craft items), admission tickets (valid in 2019), merchandise for all ages, free services, lessons, lodging, etc. Cash donations are also welcome. The auction begins Nov. 1 at 9:30 a.m. and continues through Nov. 26 at 7:30 p.m.
Here are special events and services offered in October by the Bluffton Public Library.
A 3D Printer is available for public use again during the month of October. Suggested donations are 50 cents per hour to help cover the costs for filament. The 3D printer is provided through The Northwest Regional Library System (NORWELD), of which Bluffton Public Library is a member.
The Bluffton Public Library board of trustees will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept.18, at the library, 145 S. Main St., Bluffton. The special meeting will discuss changes to the formula for country distribution of public library funds.
Bluffton Public Library will host Matt Motes, Information Technologist for the Serving Every Ohioan Library Center, for another set of tech lessons on the evening of Tuesday, September 11th.
