Rhodes State College, Lima, will offer a free introductory seminar titled Introduction to Entrepreneurship from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 19.
Kathy Keller, director of Small Business Development Center, will lead the seminar. She instructed Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs Ropp Triplett Business Plan Competition workshops, held earlier this year.

Though a market downturn generally isn't fun for most people, its timing can have a greater impact on some investors than on others. For example, a market downturn can have greater significance for retirees than for those who are still accumulating assets.
Rebekah Gambrell’s grandfather, Harley Steiner, gave Rebekah her first airplane ride when she was in grade school. The ride departed from and landed at the Bluffton Airport.
That ride helped Gambrell, 37, of Bluffton become interested in aviation. When she was in ninth grade she took a trip to Spain and she was hooked.
Et Cetera Thrift Shop, 111 S. Main St., Bluffton, will hold a back-to-school sale during Friday and Saturday's downtown sidewalk sales, according to Chrissy Lugibihl, manager.
