Rhythm in Motion Dance Centre, 220 N. Main St., Ada, will host its 7th annual open house on Saturday, Aug. 3, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to Darcey Schneider, studio owner.

Taking place will be registration for fall classes, fitted for your dance shoes, purchase and shop for new dance attire, bags, and more, according to Schneider. There will be free giveaways.

Phil Buell, president and chief executive officer of Superior Federal Credit Union, has been elected chair of the Board of Directors of the Port Authority of Allen County.  His election took place July 23 at the organizational meeting for the newly reconstituted Board of the Port Authority.

Herbert A. Schumm, vice president of medical affairs at St. Rita’s Medical Center, was elected vice chair, and Barry Hardy, of Hardy Financial Group, was elected secretary and fiscal officer.

Small House Bluffton Design/Build announces an open house Sunday, July 28, from  2 to 4 p.m. at 207 N. Lawn Ave., Bluffton, site of the contractor’s first construction project.
