Bluffton Family Recreation has a new group execise schedule including the return of All-Star Aerobics and Yoga. The new schedule begins September 5.

The Bluffton Family Recreation-YMCA and Southgate Lanes are hosting an adult coed sand volleyball all-nighter on Saturday, September 9.

  • Double elimination, best of 3
  • Games to 15 straight (no win by 2)
  • Maximum 3 men/team
  • Limited spots
  • Deadline to register September 5
  • $100/team

Start time will depend on the number of teams; probably 5:00-6:00 p.m. Ages 18 years and up.

Bluffton Family Recreation has announced that it is now offering morning and evening childcare for members coming into the building to workout. Adults must remain in the building while children are in the kids room.

Please register 24 hours in advance. If no children are registered, no staff will be available. Space is limited.

Sunday, August 27, is the deadline to register a 3-4th grade team for volleyball.

Bluffton Family Recreation reminds families that the deadline to register for U6 soccer is Sunday, August 20.

This league is for 4-6 year olds.

It runs from September 5-October 5 and takes place from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The cost is $30 for members and $60 for nonmembers.

Starting July 18, Bluffton Family Recreation will have Weightlifting 101 from 5:30-6:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

According the the BFR, these weightlifting classes are a great way to "build your confidence in the weight room by learning proper form, different exercises, and how to use weight machines."
