Re-introducing Natasha and Theresa Meyer

By Liz Gordon-Hancock
Bluffton has its fair share of twins. In the '90s, there were three sets of twins in Bluffton schools. One of these sets were two of my best friends, Theresa and Natasha Meyer. Starting with them, I set out to track down some Bluffton twins.

We all graduated from Bluffton HS in 2000. I managed to catch up with them recently for a quick chat.

There's many ways to ask someone to the prom. One way is the place question on the marquee at Lu Lu's Diner. We don't know Madison's answer, yet. Stay tuned. (Liz Gordon-Hancock photo)

Year-long program that meets twice a month from October to May

By Elizabeth Gordon-Hancock
Ever heard of MOPS? MOPS stands for Mothers of Pre-Schoolers; it's a group of mothers, who have at least one child not yet in school, that meet regularly for fellowship and support.

Ebenezer Mennonite Church has offered a MOPS group since 1999. It's a year-long program that meets two Mondays a month from October to May. Moms come from at least six different school districts. And it's not limited to moms who attend Ebenezer church; in fact, 99 percent of moms who attend the current group are from other churches in the area.
