Paul Craun, former Bluffton resident and construction professional, announced that he has filed to run for Hancock County commissioner in the May 8 Republican primary.
He will be emphasizing “Leading Together” as the theme for his campaign, bringing together business, community and government.
He has experience in supporting local economic development groups and in working with many small and large businesses and community groups across northwest Ohio.
The Bluffton Lions Club hosted a team from the Nationwide Children’s Hospital at their club meeting on Feb. 6. Dr. Randal Olshefski, pediatric oncologist, was the speaker for the group.
A fact given during the presentation is: "Every two minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer and less than half of the world’s children have access to effective care."
