Bluffton Middle School principal, Kyle Leatherman, shared his talent on Friday morning at the middle school year-end talent show.
He wasn’t even on the program.

And the end of the show, to Leatherman’s surprise, it was announced that he was named Ohio Middle Level Association (OMLA) “Educator of the Year.”
Attending the presentation was Jay Clark, president of OMLA and principal of Van Buren Middle. Also attending was is wife, Jill, and their three children, Kooper, Macy and Parker.
Bluffton Middle School students shared the stage on Friday morning for the school talent show.

S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Service Club of Bluffton announces the winners of its “Service To Humanity” scholarship awards.
Award winners are Bluffton High School seniors Andie Schmutz, Jayme Siefer and Douglas Nester. Each student received an $800 scholarship.
Andie Schmutz is the daughter of Joan Casey and Todd Schmutz. She plans to attend Rhodes State College, studying medicine to hopes to become a nurse practitioner.
Jayme Siefer is the daughter of Carol Siefer and plans to attend the University of Toledo.
Four students from Bluffton were named to the Dean’s List for fall semester 2016-17 at Ohio Northern University. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must attain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and be enrolled full-time.
