Extensive work on the Interstate 75 widening and reconstruction project in Findlay allowed the project to reach its first major milestones last year, and work continues as the project enters its third year of construction.
In 2018, the most notable changes in traffic patterns occurred off the mainline lanes of Interstate 75. In October, Lima Avenue closed to through traffic and pedestrians under U.S. 68/state Route 15 for approximately one year.
Although Mark Twain is believed to state that everyone complaints about the weather, but no one does anything about it, (**see footnote) Guy Verhoff from the official weather station at Pandora, does the next best thing.

It's not to early to start thinking about the 2019 Bluffton Arts and Crafts Show. The 2019 event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 11. The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce announces booth fees at a reduced rate, if you register early, says Paula Scott, chabmer CEO.

On the 12th day of Bluffton Christmas, the Bluffton Icon printed photos of the holiday window winners on Main Street and in Bluffton front lawns.
We also offered some photos of new traditions starting this year. Including this tree ornament-greeting from Jamie Nygaard, which carries a special Bluffton touch.

It's a long-standing Bluffton High School Christmas concert tradition. Members of the high school choir, in pajamas, sing "Twas the night before Christmas." With them are invited young family members or friends of the singers.
This tradition was started by Earl Lehman in the 1950s and continues today. Here are photos from this year's holiday concert in the middle school cafetorium.
