Program Wednesday at Senior Center

Bluffton Senior Citizens Center will host a program titled "Identity theft self defense," from 2 to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29, according to Tonya Meyer, director.

The program is presented by Elder Victim Minisry of Crime Victim Services and takes place at the Bluffton Senior Center, 132 N. Main St.

Areas covered in the program include:
• Methods criminals use to access your identity
• Identity theft monitoring
• Identity theft recovery

Also on Saturday, Riley Creek Old Time Christmas tour

The Bluffton/Pandora Community Swiss Historical Christmas open house,
"Christmas at the Homestead will be held on from 2 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2,
the Schumacher Homestead. 

The public is invited to tour the decorated 1843 house while snacking on homemade treats and listening to songs of the season.

Guests can watch food being prepared in the fireplace, hand dip a candle, play a game of checkers, shop in the gift shop and chat with staff about the history of the Homestead and typical life in the 1840's.

Aaron Antrim customarily views Bluffton from several hundred feet in the air.

On Saturday, he’ll see it from ground level.

Antrim is this year’s Blaze of Lights parade marshal. He is also the lead pilot for Mercy Life Flight 3, based at the Bluffton Airport.

As parade marshal, Antrim will ride in one of the lead vehicles in Saturday’s 5 p.m. Blaze parade. The 1998 Bluffton University graduate is married to Bluffton native Rachel Hilty, a 1996 Bluffton High School grad. The couple lives on Grismore Road with their three sons, Asher, Eden and Levi.

Tuesday, Dec. 19 - for first class mail
