Congrats to Pirate powerlifting team

Congrats to the Pirate Powerlifting Team! Girls team took first place with individual firsts from Allison Wise, Kim Gordon, Darby Prichard, Arielle O’Neal and Amelia Mitchell. Zavier O’Neal nabbed first place for the boys who finished 6th as a team.

Win number 100 for two Pirate wrestlers

James Badial-Luna and Deandre Nassar celebrated their 100th wrestling win during this past weekend's Northwest Conference wrestling meet. The Pirates finished third in the meet. More details at: www.blufftonpirates.com

The Bluffton wrestling team turned in a terrific third place finish at the Northwest Conference meet led by Tayton Kleman, James Badial-Luna and Deandre Nassar who all won their class championship. Nassar and Badial-Luna each picked up career win #100.

Jeremy Sturgeon, Elijah Conley and Landen Luginbuhl took second in their classes and Josh Mehaffie and Brady Romick finished third.

Sophomore Jared Piercefield scored 17 points as BHS boys' win

Sophomore Jared Piercefield scored 17 points as the Bluffton boys basketball team pulled away from Allen East Friday night for a 49-30 Northwest Conference victory.  The win improves the Pirates to 7-8 overall and 3-2 in league play.  Bluffton led the entire game and pulled away in the fourth quarter for the win. BHS girls' improve to 13-5

Bluffton jumped out to a 16-4 lead after one quarter then fought off a physical Allen East squad to earn a 58-47 road conference win.  Three Pirates scored in double figures led by Alivia Koenig with 16.  Averey Rumer added 12 and Libby Schaadt 11.  Bluffton improved to 13-5 overall and 5-2 in league play.
