(TIFFIN) - Senior Abbey Gambrell advanced to the Regional Finals on Friday in the 300 hurdles. Gambrell was the only Pirate to advance out of Wednesday’s meet.
Kaleb Jefferson continued to best his own record in the discus Wednesday, throwing a career best 146-10. The toss was good for sixth place overall. The senior will be back in action Friday as he competes in the high jump. Jefferson made the State Meet in that event last season.

Bluffton High School junior Averey Rumer has been named second team All Ohio in softball for the 2018 season. The shortstop led the Pirates in batting average at .625 and stolen bases with 19.
Katie Prater, a junior, received first team district honors and Libby Schaadt, a sophmore, was named to the second team. Prater batted .469, hit 8 doubles, 3 home runs and drove in 28 runs.

(FINDLAY) - Several Pirate individuals and relay teams advanced to the OHSAA regional meet in Tiffin. The boys team placed fifth and the girls seventh at the district meet.
Moving on to regionals are :

(FINDLAY) - The road to Columbus starts in Findlay for the Bluffton Track & Field teams. Thursday a few finals were run and several preliminary events took place with the finals to come Saturday again at Findlay.

In voting completed by league coaches, senior Dakota Bricker has earned First Team Northwest Conference honors in baseball. Bricker led the Pirates in batting average and ERA as a pitcher and had the second highest field percentage on the team.
Senior Brady Romick and sophomore Cayden Rayle were selected as Honorable Mention all conference. The attachment below lists all players named to the NWC squads.
