(FINDLAY) - The boys track team took fifth place and girls 10th at the Liberty Benton Pat Wagner Memorial Invitational.

Leading 3-1 in the top of the sixth, Katie Prater belted a three run double to blow open the game and Bluffton went on to defeat Allen East 6-2 Thursday evening under sunny skies.  
Prater picked up three hits on the night including two doubles and she knocked in a total of four runs.  It was the second straight conference win for Bluffton who is now 8-4 overall and 3-3 in NWC play.

(BLUFFTON) - Justin Haggard continued a perfect 2018 campaign but as a team the Bluffton Tennis squad fell to Ottawa-Glandorf by a 4-1 mark.

1st Singles : Justin Haggard defeated Craig Recker 6-2,6-2

2nd Singles : Christian Groman lost to Kevin Recker 6-0,6-0

3rd Singles : Drew Wilson lost to Carter Welch 6-0,6-1

1st Doubles : Kory Strahm & Jordan Seifer lost to Zach Balbaugh & Drew Kuhlman 6-0,6-1

The Bluffton girls track & field defeated Ada and Fort Jennings in a rainy tri meet Tuesday evening. 

The girls won 13 events in all including all relays.  Here’s a break down of all Pirates that earned team points:

(BLUFFTON) - The boys tennis squad fell to Elida Monday evening by a 3-1 count.   The first doubles match was suspended by rain and not resumed.  Justin Haggard improved to 8-0 on the season with a near sweep of his Bulldog opponent.

2nd Singles : Christian Groman lost to Sebastian Kunkleman 6-0, 6-0

3rd Singles : Drew Wilson lost to Riley Fricke 6-1, 6-4

(BLUFFTON) - Columbus Grove’s jumped on Bluffton’s baseball team early and held on for a 5-3 Northwest Conference victory Monday.  The loss sends Bluffton to 3-7 overall and 1-4 in NWC play. 

The Bulldogs put up two runs in the top of the first inning as they staked a lead they would not relinquish.  Bluffton starting pitcher Dakota Bricker settled in for the next few innings before Grove plated two more in the fourth to break a 2-2 tie.
