(PAULDING) - Bluffton struck first but Paulding was able to pull away for an 11-1 victory in five innings Thursday afternoon.  Brady Romick scored in the top of the first inning giving Bluffton a 1-0 lead but Paulding responded with three runs in the bottom of the frame. 

Dakota Bricker led Bluffton with a 2/2 effort at the plate.  Kaden Reneker, Romick, Brice Rayle and Malachi Pahl all picked up hits for the Pirates.

(PAULDING) - Bluffton softball dropped a 3-1 road decision to Northwest Conference foe Paulding Thursday.  The Pirates outhit the Panthers 7-4 but surrendered two unearned runs on three errors.  Bluffton is now 6-3 (1-2 in NWC) while Paulding is 3-3 (2-1). 

Brinkley Garmatter racked up three hits for Bluffton and stole a base.  Katie Prater was 2/3 and drove in Averey Rumer for the lone Pirate run in the top of the first inning.

(BLUFFTON) - Justin Haggard continued his undefeated individual season but the Bluffton boys tennis team fell to St. Mary’s 4-1 Thursday afternoon. 

1st Singles : Justin Haggard won 6-0,1-6, 6-1 over Marcel Lansing

2nd Singles : Christian Groman fell to Howie Spencer 6-0, 6-1

3rd Singles : Drew Wilson fell to C Vanderhorst 6-1, 6-1

1st Doubles : Kory Strahm & Mack Burner fell to Andrew Vogel & David Keller 6-0, 6-0

(BLUFFTON) - The Bluffton Track & Field team hosted a tri-match against Pandora-Gilboa and McComb Tuesday evening.  Team results are not available but here are the individual results for Pirate athletes.  

Times, heights and distances were skewed by the continued cold and windy weather.

(BLUFFTON) - Ottoville scored three runs in the third inning which was enough to win a 3-0 non-conference battle Wednesday evening.  Bluffton falls to 2-4 with the loss. 

Senior Cole Fruchey pitched well for Bluffton, making it into the sixth inning and holding the Big Green to just two hits and striking out four.  Freshman Evan Mayden got the final five outs for BHS including two strikeouts.  Mayden gave up no hits.

(BLUFFTON) - Four runs in the top of the seventh proved to be the difference as Crestview topped Bluffton in a Northwest Conference baseball affair Monday evening.  

Tied 1-1 entering the seventh, the Knights plated four runs to take the lead.  

Dakota Bricker had two of Bluffton’s six hits while Braeden Edwards had one hit and one run scored for the Pirates.  Bluffton is now 2-3 overall and 1-1 in NWC play.
