Freshman Regaan Mittendorf scored all Pirate goals in a 3-2 girls soccer victory over Ada on Saturday.  

Ada took a 1-0 lead in the game's first ten minutes.  Mittendorf tied it up from a shot outside the box later in the half.  Mittendorf again scored from outside the box on a chip shot just before halftime. 

Ada tied the game at 2-2 with 25' remaining however Ms. Mittendorf put Bluffton ahead to stay with ten minutes remaining. 

Freshman Brylee Oberdorf women's medalist at 90

 The Bluffton University men's golf team shot a 351 on day two of the Beaver Fall Classic on a beautiful Sunday, Sept. 23, at Hidden Creek Golf Club. Bluffton moved past HCAC rival Anderson University by a single stroke as the Beavers finished the weekend with a 707 total.

After winning their opening match of the season, the Lady Pirate volleyball squad proceeded to drop their next eight matches.

After three tied matches in five days, the Bluffton girls soccer team exploded for a much needed 5-0 victory at Tiffin Columbian Saturday.  Sophomore Laykin Garmatter nabbed a hat trick in the win and Blufffon got additional goals from Kayla White and Rebekah Hoff.  

Assisting on goals were Reagan Mittendorf, Clara Matthews and White.  

The Pirates are now 2-1-4 on the season.

Last season, Bluffton traveled to Celina and built a 4-0 lead only to see it evaporate and leave town with a 5-5 tie in their match with Celina.  A similar outcome happened Saturday afternoon as the Pirates built a 3-1 lead with 15 minutes remaining but back to back goals by Bulldog Jim Aquino leveled the score at 3-3 which is how the game ended.

Freshman Caitlin Dailey finished 29th of 295 runners in the Girls Division II / III race Saturday at the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival.  Dailey completed the 5K course in 23:52. 

On the boys side, BHS finished 27th of 32 teams. Individual Pirate finishers:
