The Pandora United Methodist Church will be hosting a free community meal on Wednesday, March 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora.

The meal this month is provided by Sprunger Insurance and will be spaghetti, bread stick, salad and dessert.

The churches of Pandora and Gilboa are offering food boxes for the month of March for households in the Pandora/Gilboa School District. The boxes are designed to provide nine meals for a family of four.

In order to pick up a box, you must register by 5 p.m. on Monday, March 25 by calling 419-384-3905.
Boxes will be available for pickup on Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m. at the Pandora United Methodist Church located on State Route 12.

There will be a Chicken BBQ Dinner on Sunday, March 17 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Pandora United Methodist Church, 108 E.Washington St. (Rt 12).

Tickets are $7.50 per person (dine-in or carry-out). For ticket information, call 419.384.3782.  Some tickets will be available at the door.

Names of Wondrous Love-Immanuel, is the topic of the Lenten Service at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 7:00 p.m..

Ken Engdahl, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, Kenton, will be the guest speaker.  The choir will sing "Lamb of God". 

A light supper will be served from 5:30 p.m - 6:30 p.m.  Everyone is welcome and the church is handicapped accessible.  More information is at www.tlcjenera.org

 

National and International speakers and authors, Stuart and Jill Briscoe, will speak at St. John Mennonite’s Mission Festival, set for March 2-3.  The church is located at 15988 Road 4, Pandora. 

Stuart has preached in over 100 countries and written more than 40 books. Jill is highly sought-after Bible teacher and has authored more than 40 books. Their daily radio and internet Bible teaching broadcasts are heard all around the world.

A Lenten service will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 N. Main St., Jenera, on Wednesday Feb. 20, at 7 p.m. 

The theme for the service will be "Names of Wondrous Love-The Truth.  Pastor Bob Krueger from Immanuel Lutheran Church, Findlay, will deliver the message and the students in grades 5-8 will sing "On the Cross Have Mercy."  

A light supper will be served from 5:30-6:30 p.m.  The church is handicapped accessible and all are welcome.  For more information, see tlcjenera.org
