Friends of the Bluffton Public Library's spring book sale is underway. Hours are Thursday until 7:30 p.m., Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Suggested donations are children's books and paperbacks 50 cents, hardcovers $1, DVDs and audiobooks $1. Proceeds support library programs. The sale is in the library's lower level.
Bluffton's next American Red Cross blood drive is from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 16, in Bluffton middle school, due to air conditioning work at the high school gym.
Donors may sign-up in the school office or call 1-800-RED-CROSS or go to redcrossblood.org sponsor code "bluffhsoh" to schedule a donor appointment.

Bluffton stands 21-17 overall and the Beavers will face the loser of Anderson vs. Rose-Hulman at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018.
Bluffton postal carrier will pick up non-perishable food donations in its "Stamp Out Hunger" drive on Saturday, May 12.
Postal patrons may place donations near their mailbox on Saturday. Donations in the drive will assist the Bluffton Community Assistance Program's food pantry.
