When someone is having a stroke, every minute counts.

Strokes happen when blood flow to the brain stops. Within minutes, brain cells begin to die. That’s why stroke specialists often say “time is brain.”

Join Esther for a Block Printing Workshop on May 7 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Learn some block printing basics and get creative with your new skills.

It’s been a long day. You are more than ready to go to bed……and it’s only 3:00 pm!

You actually promise yourself that tonight will be different. You are going to get to bed early and get some sleep! Soooo, you get home from work and start tackling that ‘to-do’ list with a vengeance.  

Make dinner, run kids to/from practice, throw in a load of laundry, help your kids with homework, fold some laundry, do the dishes, exercise (hint, hint…even if it’s just a little;), shower and put the kids to bed.

Bluffton is important cog in these events

Bluffton continues to be  an important cog in several bicycle events in northwestern Ohio.

Black Swamp Bike Tours announced five biking events this summer, and Bluffton's Ride to Remember is one of the largest. This year's tours include:

Libby Schaadt pitched a five hitter and hit a two run homer as Bluffton won their eighth straight softball contest Thursday night at home.  BHS improved to 14-4 overall and 5-3 in NWC play with the win. 

After surrendering an unearned run in the first inning, Schaadt settled in over the next six frames. The sophomore struck out 12 and walked none.  

The Bluffton farmers' market opens for the season on Saturday. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to noon in the Citizens National Bank parking lot. This is the market's 12th year. Greg Probst is the market manager and the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce operates the market.
