(DEFIANCE) - Bluffton’s wrestling team took to the mats Friday afternoon in the Tri-State Defiance Border Wars featuring many Division 1 and Division 2 schools. Deandre Nassar advanced to the meet semifinals in his classes with two victories. Several other Pirate wrestlers are alive in the Consolation bracket as well.

BLUFFTON, Ohio - After a lengthy hiatus from Copeland Court, the Bluffton women’s basketball squad hit the home court for the first time in five weeks to face off against the Scots of Alma College. Despite slow starts for both teams, the Beavers took control of the momentum and did not let up, outscoring the Scots 23-9 in the second quarter en route to a 66-49 victory while moving to 8-1 on the season.
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men’s basketball team returned to its home court to close out the 2017 year while hosting the 20th annual McDonalds of Bluffton Holiday Tournament. They kicked off the tourney against the OSU-Lima Barons and after a hot start, the Beavers methodically marched to a 94-57 win while improving to 4-6 on the season.
Four holiday basketball tournaments involving 16 games take place this weekend with Bluffton University men, Bluffton University women, Bluffton High School boys' varsity and Bluffton High School boys' junior varsity playing various opponents.
