BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's basketball team sandwiched wins around a short Thanksgiving break as the Beavers downed Kalamazoo College 86-70 on Saturday, Nov. 25, after knocking off Heidelberg Tuesday night in the Sommer Center. Bluffton improved to 3-1 on the season, while the Hornets stayed winless at 0-2.

Harry and Dorothy Ream started an outdoor lighting display 80 Christmas seasons ago. The tradition continues and the Ream folk art holiday display will light up Bluffton again beginning Saturday evening.

Aaron Antrim customarily views Bluffton from several hundred feet in the air.

On Saturday, he’ll see it from ground level.

Antrim is this year’s Blaze of Lights parade marshal. He is also the lead pilot for Mercy Life Flight 3, based at the Bluffton Airport.

As parade marshal, Antrim will ride in one of the lead vehicles in Saturday’s 5 p.m. Blaze parade. The 1998 Bluffton University graduate is married to Bluffton native Rachel Hilty, a 1996 Bluffton High School grad. The couple lives on Grismore Road with their three sons, Asher, Eden and Levi.

Marjorie "Margie" L. Moyer, 92, of Wauseon, Ohio, died Wednesday, Nov.  22, 2017, in CHP Defiance Area Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio. 

She was born Nov. 20, 1925, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to the late Jesse and Beatrice M. (Turner) Jackson.  She married Robert Moyer on Feb. 9, 1946, and moved to Mt. Cory, Ohio. Robert preceded her in death on May 13, 2003.
