College Goal Sunday held at Columbus Grove High School Feb. 8
Columbus Grove High School will host the state-wide college financial aid event “College Goal Sunday” (CGS) at 1 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 8.
This free event, presented by the Ohio Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (OASFAA), is endorsed by the Ohio Board of Regents, and provides experts from local colleges to assist students and parents with online completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
This form is required to receive federal financial aid such as the federal and state grants and student loans. Workshops on various aspects of the financial aid process will begin at 1 p.m., with computer input starting at 2 p.m.
Families are encouraged to register for the free event at www.ohiocollegegoalsunday.org or by calling 1-800-233-6734. Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration is encouraged. The afternoon is geared toward the needs of current high school seniors, but is open to the general public, as well.
