Bluffton council, school board and Richland Township trustee winners on Nov. 7 will help chart the next four-year course for those bodies.

Bluffton council will experience the biggest change as Jerry Cupples, Mitch Kingsley and Dave Steiner – each a former council member – rejoin the six-member body. Phill Talavinia, also a winner on Tuesday, is the only candidate retaining his seat. Their four-year-terms begin on Jan. 1.

The four will join Richard Johnson and Joe Sehlhorst on council. Those two will be up for re-election in two years.

Three current council candidates who lost on Nov. 7 are Shawn Burrell, Ralph Miller and Roger Warren.  Their terms expire on Dec. 31.

School board has no changes as three incumbents, Brad Fruchey, Ken Lugibihl and Wes Klinger were re-elected to four-year terms. They will join Renee Smith and Jeremy Scoles on school board. Those two will be up for re-election in two years.

No changes are on Richland Township trustees as both candidates, Rod Goldsberry and Gary Lugibihl, were re-elected to four-year terms. Don Brauen is the other trustee and he will be up for re-election in two years. Neil Reichenbach ran unopposed as township clerk and will retain his seat.
