Kimberly Lynn Stover, age 55, of Clearwater, Florida passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Kim was born on November 17, 1969, in Lima, Ohio to John E. Stover and Cheryl L. Frymyer. She attended school in Bluffton, Ohio before relocating to Clearwater, FL. She later lived in Georgia for nearly a decade before eventually returning to Clearwater.

Kim worked for Bank of America corporate after several years as an assistant manager of a banking center, a cumulative 15 years. She was always a dedicated employee, holding various administrative and management positions throughout her professional life.

Kim enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and the simple joys of life—cooking, doing crossword puzzles, playing games, and sitting on her porch to enjoy the nice weather, visit with neighbors, and observe the wildlife. She also loved visiting and playing with her grandsons. She was a lifelong animal lover, faithfully caring for her two dogs Pepper and Cayenne into their old age.

Those who knew Kim will remember her radiant smile, kindness, and generous spirit. She had a warm personality that made anyone who met her feel welcome and cared for.

She will be lovingly remembered by her life partner of 19 years, Curtis Smallwood, her daughter Nicole (Dustin) Armstrong of Kathleen, GA, her grandsons John and Josiah Armstrong of Kathleen, GA, her father John (Susan) Stover of Clearwater, FL, her sisters Kelly (Scott) Light of Atlanta, GA, Ericka (Frymyer) Wiley of Quincy, MI, Cindy (Stover) Blaski of Lima, OH, and brother Curt (Amy) Stover of Ada, OH. Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Cheryl Lynn Frymyer.

A private memorial service will be held in Kim’s honor in Clearwater, FL for immediate family and friends.
