University hosts Harvest Dinner Friday

Bluffton Bread Company products available at the event

The Bluffton University Nutrition Association (BUNA) will host its annual Harvest Dinner, benefiting the Bluffton Community Assistance Corporation and the Churches United Pantry (CUP) in Lima, from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, in Founders Hall at Bluffton University. The Harvest Dinner will also be the initial sale location for the Bluffton Bread Company.

Allen County in Level 1 and village snow plows are at work

The Allen County Sheriff has issued a Level I Roadway Advisory: Roadways are snow or ice covered with possible drifting. Driving conditions are hazardous.

Bluffton public works department salted bridges in the village at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon. Currently two trucks with plows are working the streets and a third truck may be called later tonight.

BHS Drama Club brings O Henry's stories to life

Fall production Friday and Saturday on the middle school stage

If you like stories with a surprise ending you'll love this weekend's Bluffton High School drama production of a collection of stories from O. Henry.

Titled "Jookalorum!", performances aew Friday Nov. 15, and Saturday, Nov. 16, in the middle school cafetorium. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and curtain at 7:30 p.m.  

What's it all about?
Jookalorum! – When O. Henry coined this term-meaning something special or spectacular — he probably never imagined it would be the perfect word to describe his stories and unique style of humor.
