The Bluffton Community Assistance Program has the following needs for its food pantry with the holidays approaching.

Chunky Soups, especially Campbells
Cream of mushroom Soup

Tailgating party at 2 p.m. Sunday, game at 4 p.m., four busses for students going to Columbus

There’s a Bluffton Pirates party in Columbus on Sunday and here’s your invitation.

The Bluffton HS boys’ soccer team will face Columbus Wellington School Jaguars in the Division III state finals in the Columbus Crew stadium at 4 p.m.

Crime Victim Services volunteer guardianship info session on Nov. 12

The next Crime Victim Services information session on volunteer guardianship is Tuesday, Nov. 12, according to Elysia Bush of Bluffton, director, Elderly Victim Ministry and CVS Guardian Programs.

The sessions take place in the CVS training room, 220 N. Elizabeth St., Lima. This session is from noon to 1 p.m.

Bush said, “Helping a vulnerable person live to that person’s full potential deepens the reach of Allen and Putnam County’s caring community."

Hosted by Mercy Health - St. Rita’s Medical Center Nov. 8

St. Rita’s Medical Center  will hold its Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgery Symposium Friday, Nov. 8, at the St. Rita’s Conference Center, 718 W. Market St., Lima.

It will be a day of presentations and discussion to emphasize the importance and advantages of robotic and minimally invasive surgical procedures. Registration will begin at 7 a.m., with various presentations going from 7:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
