BHS grad heads to DIII track and field nationals for 4th time

Hannah Chappell-Dick, a senior at Eastern Mennonite University, has qualified  for the NCAA Division III track and field national meet for the fourth time.

Grinnell College (Iowa) hosts this year's national meet, March 11 and 12.

With her qualification, Chappell-Dick gets a chance to repeat as an All-American in the mile.  Her best time this season of 4:59.10 put her ninth in the 17-woman field.  Last year the three-time All-American was fourth heading into the national meet before running a 4:56.81 in the finals to take the silver medal.

Northwest Physical Therapy announces partnership with Hilty Home

Hilty Home in Pandora, part of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (MHCO) announces a partnership with local, independent therapy provider Northwest Physical Therapy (NWPT). 

NWPT has been the provider of therapy services for more than 20 years at MHCO’s Mennonite Memorial Home location in Bluffton.

NWPT will now be serving both locations’ "Transition to Home” rehab centers - offering short-term rehab services for patients staying in one of the private rooms at either location, or in a convenient outpatient setting.

Request to name airport terminal in memory of Dottie Anderson, Bluffton female pioneer pilot

Bluffton council may hear a request from the Bluffton Airport Advisory Commission for a suggested tribute to the late Dottie Anderson, a lifelong pilot at Bluffton Flying Services.
