Tiny Tots meets from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Fridays now through Feb. 19 at Bluffton Family Recreation, 215 Snider Road, Bluffton.
Classes are for 18-month-olds through age 5. New activities are introduced each week, including coordination, balance, social skills and lots for fun for youth in this age group.

Phil Krouskop ’65 was selected for his accomplishments as a high school baseball coach, Matthew Creamer ‘80 is being recognized for his accomplishments on the basketball court, Todd Hafner ‘84 is being honored posthumously as a two-sport star and the 2004 women’s track and field team will be celebrated for winning the women’s conference championship.
Although its not yet mulch season, Bluffton council received two quotes for brush dump grinding this winter. Bids are from Winter Go Green, Findlay, for $21,225, and Park Enterprise Construction, Marion, for $15,650.
Park informed council that they are able to perform the work as early as two weeks from the acceptance of the quote. Action on awarding a contract is anticipated at Monday's Bluffton council meeting.
Justin Ray Burkholder, 31, died Jan. 16, 2016, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Justin was born Nov. 5, 1984 in Bluffton to Donald and Darlene (Lytle) Burkholder who survive.
Justin graduated from Pandora-Gilboa High School. Justin was a laborer at Whirlpool Corporation, Findlay. He was a member of the Leipsic Hunting and Fishing Club.
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University Beavers and the Hanover College Panthers met for the first time this season on Saturday, Jan. 16 in the Sommer Center. Bluffton's recent skid continued as the home team fell, 76-63, dropping the Beavers to 8-7 overall with a 3-5 mark in the HCAC. The Panthers were able to break through the .500 mark, getting to 8-7 overall with a strong 6-2 Heartland Conference record.
FINDLAY, Ohio - Despite starting the meet one day and finishing it in the early hours of the morning of the next, the Beavers were undaunted as they competed in the largely Division II field at the Northwest Ohio Invitational hosted by Findlay University.
Jonathan Fortman and Zachary Fortman, sons of John and Catherine Fortman, recently purchased the Ottawa and Bluffton businesses of Fortman Insurance Services.
Company founders, John and Catherine, will continue to stay active in the business.
John Fortman started Fortman Insurance Services in November 1978, and his wife, Catherine, joined him in 1982.
