Brad Fruchey will serve as president of the Bluffton school board in 2018. The board elected him during its reorganization meeting on Jan. 8. Also elected, as board vice president, was Wesley Klinger.
In addition to Fruchey and Klinger, board members are Ken Lugibihl, Brad Scoles and Renee Smith.
Phyllis J. Campbell, 76, formerly of Findlay, died on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at the Hilty Home, Pandora.
She was born on June 17, 1941, in Findlay to the late James A. and Virginia D. (Ricketts) Baughman. On Dec. 9, 1962 she married Darwin G. Campbell and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2010.

The Bluffton Exempted Village School District is currently accepting applications from students interested in attending the school district through open enrollment for the 2018-2019 school year.
Students from any school district in Ohio may apply and enroll in Bluffton Schools tuition free. Students are admitted on a full-time basis only.
Applications are approved annually on a first come, first served basis and approval is subject to grade level enrollment and educational programs.
