Bluffton elementary school has several back-to-school announcements, according to Tim Closson, principal. Those follow:

Talking with Della Salter is like getting a card from an old friend, or eating an ice cream sundae. It just makes you feel good!
If there is a word to describe this Mennonite Memorial Home villa resident, it’s “positive.”
“I’m positive because I’ve had a very positive life,” she emphasized. Salter has lived in her two-bedroom villa on Pinebrook Drive, Bluffton, for more than 30 years. She was the second person to move in after her villa was built.
There's an unwritten rule to close your nose and close your eyes when riding the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool slide. Here's an example, and a reminder that the final day for the pool to be open is Thursday.

Thursday, Aug. 23 - Middle School Meet the Teacher - 6-7 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 24 - District Wide Open House - Middle School - 6:30-7:30pm.
Registration for the 2018-2019 School Year - Registration packets including information on fees, school supplies, Lifetouch photos, free and reduced lunches, and payment options were mailed on Friday, Aug. 10.
Bluffton Senior Center, 132 N. Main St., will have a craft supply sale later this week.
