Several Icon readers notified our editor that the home at 518 S. Main St was being demolished during the week of April 20.

Crews made short work of the older house, which changed hands twice in 2025. The 3-bedroom home had an appraised value of $153,800 in 2021.

FROM LIONS NEWS__The spring Stacks & Crafts show coordinated by Event Pro Connections to benefit the Bluffton Lions Club will take place on Saturday, May 16. The Craft Show, which has free admission, takes place from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at Bluffton Middle School. The Pancake Breakfast offers endless pancakes for $10, from 8:00-11:00 a.m. at Bluffton Middle School.

Mary Ellen Nesler, 97, passed away April 24, 2026, at The Manor at Greendale in Findlay.

Mary Ellen was born October 4, 1928, in Hancock County, to Edward and Lola (Elsea) Boehm who preceded her in death. On August 14, 1949, she married Raymond Nesler who preceded her in death on July 20, 2013.

On display through May 15; gallery hours are 9 a.m.– 4 p.m. weekdays.

MEDIA RELEASE__Bluffton Post 382 of the American Legion will host the Fred ARnold Memorial Charitable Golf Outing on Saturday, June 13.

The event takes place at Bluffton Golf Club. All proceeds fund local charities.
