She's a natural as a financial planner
Allyse Averesch watched the Big Board on Bluffton’s largest Main Street screen (not counting Shannon Theatre) when the Icon arrived for an interview yesterday.
As a consumer and family financial service major at Ohio State where she graduated, it’s natural for her to follow stocks. That’s because she is an associate with Ameriprise Financial Services.
Late this summer joined the firm of her father, Greg Averesch, whose Ameriprise office is at 147 N. Main St., Suite A.
And, she is now a third-generation financial planner, following the footsteps of her father and grandfather, the late George T. Kocher, Sr.
She has two and a half years experience in financial planning and works out of a Columbus office a few days each week and in Bluffton on Mondays and Tuesdays. Her time in the Bluffton office will gradually increase.
Assisting people with financial planning is something she enjoys. “I work with young families all the way to retirees,” she said, reflecting on the range of ages of her clients.
Allyse is a certified financial planner (CFP), and an accredited portfolio management advisor (APMA), in addition to holding licenses in life and health insurance.
“As a comprehensive financial planner I can provide my clients investment advice, retirement planning, education planning and insurance protection planning,” she said.
With that background she can assist clients in selecting stocks, mutual funds, bonds and life and health insurance.
“I particularly enjoy working with young families,” she said. “There are a lot of things you can do when you plan early.”
When she’s not watching the Big Board she says she enjoys the outdoors. “I like to travel, backpack and be outdoors,” she said, adding that winter skiing holds a special interest.
Her father, Greg, joined Stanley Naylor in 2000 and then in 2002 purchased Naylor and Associates. Since February 2010 the office location is at 147 N. Main St.
