Letter: BFR committed to continuous improvements

Over the last year, we have actively engaged our community through programs and member services. My team and I are committed to continuous improvement in how we impact youth and families.
This year Bluffton Family Recreation is excited to be participating in #Giving Tuesday on November 27th in conjunction with Mercy Health. All donations that Bluffton Family Recreation receives by year end will be doubled up to $5,000 by Mercy Health. We are blessed to have this partnership and need your help in reaching our goal of $5,000 by year end.
The funds raised will be used to continue our dedication in providing the best in class services to our community.
To be more specific, funds raised by year end will be used to finish our Mercy Health Studio and to furnish the necessary equipment to enhance our youth programming. Once the funds are raised, we will be installing the remaining flooring in the Mercy Health Fitness Studio and purchasing additional equipment to provide top level TRX and HITT style classes.
For youth programming, we will be purchasing new gymnastics equipment to expand our basic gymnastic program to a progressive level offering a more advanced level.
Bluffton Family Recreation has undergone several changes in the last year to better impact our community and increase value added services to your membership.
Since September 2018 all group x classes are now free for members. This has redefined your member experience and increased the number of participants in your fitness class working alongside you in healthy lifestyle. Secondly, we have revamped all of our youth programming. All youth programs are now four week long sessions with class sizes set at 10 participants.
With this change we have been able to ensure quality programming through smaller class sizes allowing more children to try new programs with shorter time commitments. We are excited to continue these service upgrades with even more new programming starting in January.
We thank you for the opportunity to serve our community and for your consideration in helping us reach our year end donation goal of $5,000. There are three ways to give to Bluffton Family Recreation: on our website through the donation button/in person at BFR or over the phone.
